We are thrilled with the calibre of entries this year, the process was competitive and it is a fantastic achievement to have made it as a finalist.’
The exhibiting artists have all created remarkable works that are individually exciting and varied. Ella said ‘our visitors and community are already looking forward to the exhibition opening – and finding out who will be the winning artist for 2017 and which artist will take away the People’s Choice Award’.
The judges for the 2017 Prize are David Cross, Professor of Art and Performance, Deakin University; Lou Hubbard, Artist; and Claire Watson, Curator, Bundoora Homestead Art Centre.
