Creative Shifts in Cultural Cities
A series of lectures about cities, art and the concept of place, part of the NGV’s Melbourne Now ‘Talk Now’.
There are numerous reasons cities become social and creative centres at any given time in history. As we celebrate contemporary art and culture in our city, Melbourne Now provides a great opportunity to present a lecture series that explores the concept of ‘place’ and the how, why and when that contribute to making a city an artistic mecca.
