Spend the night with Napoleon 24hr opening final weekend 6 – 7 October

Celebrate the last weekend of Napoleon’s reign over Melbourne as the National Gallery of Victoria stays open all night on Saturday 6 October.

The NGV, with support from the City of Melbourne, are offering a night of free live entertainment and activities, with special $10 tickets for Napoleon: Revolution to Empire from midnight Saturday 6 October until 8am Sunday 7 October.*

To celebrate the last weekend of this year’s Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition, Napoleon: Revolution to Empire, the NGV is holding a 24h hour event with free live music from contemporary bands and DJs, bold pop-up talks presented by the curatorial team, storytelling for families and delicious French inspired food and refreshments throughout the night.

 Visitors to the NGV during the evening will enjoy:

• Free live music from Henry Wagons, Jen Cloher, Hiatus Kaiyote, Axolotl, and DJs Edd Fisher & Vince Peach

• Illustrated introductory talks

• Free pop-up talks by the curators in the exhibition

• Free Storytelling After Dark in NGV Kids Space
