
As part of the the NGV’s winter exhibition on Edgar Degas the gallery is hosting a symposium with international experts on the artist. From his paintings of ballerinas to the social world of Parisian nightlife, Degas’ works demonstrate great technical, conceptual and expressive skill and reveal his openness to experiment with a range of mediums.
