ARC Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions: Change Program Scholarships Scholarships are available in the new ARC Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, working with Professor David Lemmings in the OChange¹program. Value Opportunities include: · Full scholarship to the value of $26,000 per annum; or · Supplementary scholarship to the value of $5,500 per annum. Each scholarship offers the recipient a travel/accommodation allowance of up to $13,500 in order to conduct research in Europe. News: Art Gallery of South Australia Announces New Director

Last week the Chairman of the Art Gallery of South Australia, Michael Abbott QC, announced that Nick Mitzevich would be the new Director of the Gallery. The previous director, Christopher Menz, resigned from the post in January this year. Nick Mitzevich is currently the Director of the University of Queensland Art Museum in Brisbane and was formerly Director of the Newcastle Region Art Gallery. At forty years old, Mr Mitzevich is the youngest person to assume the role of Director in the Art Gallery of South Australia’s 129 year history.
